Dubai claims a tender for its first CSP project has set a record low price. But differing methodologies are clouding solar cost estimates.
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) says it has received a world record low US¢9.45/kWh bid for a concentrated solar power (CSP) plant in a tender for the 200MW fourth phase of a solar park being developed 50km south of Dubai City at Seih al-Dalal.
