Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) has licensed a number of process technologies from US firm Honeywell for chemicals units to be built at its under-development 615,000 b/d Al-Zour integrated refining and petrochemical complex. KPC’s Canadian petchems JV, meanwhile, has awarded a front end engineering design (FEED) contract to US firm Jacobs Engineering for a 550,000 t/y polypropylene plant in Alberta.
