Gasoline prices have been hiked by as much as 127% as part of a bid to reduce Riyadh’s subsidies bill. But with diesel steady at just a quarter the price of gasoline, fuel switching may cut into savings. The move coincides with higher electricity tariffs for 2018, for which utility SEC is offering advice on cutting consumption.
