Expansion hikes Oman’s refining capacity by 36%, potentially cutting crude exports by up to 80,000 b/d.  Duqm refinery targets products exports from 2023.

Oman’s output of key refined products set a new record in January, according to Oman’s National Center for Statistics and Information (NCSI). Output of diesel, gasoline, jet-kerosene and LPG amounted to 204,000 b/d, compared with 177,000 b/d in Q4 2017 and 171,000 b/d for 2017 (see chart).
