Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) says that its light oil capacity currently stands at 160,000 b/d and will rise to 200,000 b/d in October. The 40,000 b/d boost will come from the third Jurassic fields’ early production facility (EPF), which had been slated for an already-delayed August start-up (MEES, 20 April). This EPF is at the West Raudhatain field and is being constructed by US-based contractor Schlumberger.
