Keen to capitalize on foreign interest in Omani upstream, the Ministry of Oil and Gas (MOG) has  created seven new blocks in the country’s south – five of which (70, 73, 74, 75 and 76) are to be offered in an upcoming bid round set for 2019 along with the already delineated but vacant Block 58 (MEES, 16 November).
