Five months after halting LNG imports, Egypt is tendering to export four cargoes (c.580mn cfd gas) for April-loading. State oil firm EGPC, which has 24% of the country’s 7.2mn t/y Idku LNG export terminal, closed the tender on 18 March. Operator, Anglo-Dutch major Shell exported 21 cargoes from Idku in 2018.
