Soaring Mediterranean output boosted Egypt gas production to a quarterly record of 6.57mn cfd for Q1, with output hitting a new monthly record of 6.66bn cfd for March – the latest official data shows. But the bigger rise has come with the end-March start-up of the sixth 400mn cfd processing train at Eni’s giant 21.5tcf Zohr field, taking output capacity to 2.3bn cfd from 10 production wells.
