Iran’s crude exports have remained at threadbare levels of 300-400,000 b/d since waivers on US sanctions ended in early May (MEES, 28 June). China, which imported 208,000 b/d in June and 217,000 b/d in July – the two lowest figures since 2010 (MEES, 30 August) – is the only paying customer.
