Japans Oil Imports Increased For March

Japans Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) published monthly petroleum data on 30 April which showed that March crude oil imports were 3.8% higher than in February but 0.7% lower than in March 2007. Supplies from the Middle East were 5.7% lower in March than February, and 12.2% down year-on-year. As usual, Saudi Arabia was Japans largest supplier. Japans refiners increased...
