Jordans Oil Import Bill Estimated At $2.58Bn In 2006

The bill for Jordans imports of crude oil and products in 2006 is expected to rise to JD1.827bn ($2.58bn) and the oil subsidy is projected to rise to JD375mn ($529mn) from an earlier estimate of JD250mn ($352mn), according to an official of the Ministry of Finance Hamad al-Kasasiba.
