Sudan To Adopt New Currency By End Of 2006

Sudan is expected to change its national currency from the Dinar to the Pound by the end of 2006 as part of steps approved in the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) signed at the end of 2004 (MEES, 10 January 2005).
