Morocco Increases Fuel Prices
Moroccos government on 9 February increased fuel prices to reflect the recent increase in crude oil prices. The 2006 budget oil price assumption was estimated at $60/B (MEES, 13 February). The price of super gasoline was increased from MD10.35 ($1.13)/l to MD10.51 ($1.14)/liter while the price of industrial fuel oil increased from MD2,881 ($314)/ton to MD3,307 ($360)/ton.
