Spains Fertiberia Assumes Control Of Two Algerian Fertilizer Firms, Plans Ammonia Plant
Spanish fertilizer company Fertiberia on 18 April announced that it had acquired 66% of two state-owned Algerian firms, Fertial and Alzofert, for $160mn. During the next three years, Fertiberia plans to invest $167mn into the two in order to boost production. The Spanish firm will also invest $410mn towards the creation of a new ammonia plant...
