PTT Announces Award Of Saveh Exploration Block By NIOC

Thailands PTT Exploration and Production (PTTEP) says it has been awarded an exploration and development contract for the Saveh block in Iran. The Saveh agreement is the first for one of 16 blocks offered by the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) under new terms which grant the license holder the automatic right to develop any commercial discoveries (MEES, 2 February 2004).
