Egypt Awards Three Exploration Concessions
Egypts Ministry of Petroleum on 4 June announced that it had signed three oil and gas exploration concessions with international energy companies covering a total area 4,674 sq km and calling for investments worth a total $219mn and the drilling of 15 new wells. Signature bonuses amounted to $15.5mn the ministry said.
