First Oilfield Discovered In Nile Delta
The first oilfield in the Nile Delta area has been discovered 15km south of Mansoura, Egyptian Minister of Petroleum Sameh Fahmy announced on 2 July. The Tamad-1 has estimated reserves of 12-14mn barrels of extra light crude and 20-50bn cu ft of natural gas.
