Jordan Raises Fuel Prices Again
The Jordanian government on 20 September announced increases in petroleum product prices of between 4.8% and 29%, effective 21 September, to offset the projected increase in the budget deficit as a result of soaring world oil prices. According to the cabinet decision, gasoline prices rose by 4.8-5.4%, kerosene/diesel by 22%, LPG by 7% (to JD3.75/cylinder), jet fuel by 23% and fuel oil for industry...
