Pipeline Fires Disrupt Abadan-Mahshahr Oil And LPG Deliveries
Explosions ruptured two pipelines carrying crude oil and LPG from Irans Abadan refinery to the port of Mahshahr on 7 October, killing one guard and injuring two others. Iranian media reports attributed the blasts and subsequent fires to a leakage of gas, which was ignited during welding work on the crude pipeline.
