Pipelines Near Abadan Set Ablaze After New Accident

Pipelines have once again been set ablaze near Abadan in Khuzestan in southwest Iran, due to an accident involving a truck, the official IRNA agency reported on 26 October. The fire broke out late Tuesday when a truck crashed into oil and gas pipelines linking Abadan with Mahshahr. The fire was brought under control but the flow of oil was interrupted.
