Shell Starts Major Seismic Program In Sirte Basin
Shell announced on 20 November that it had begun one of the largest seismic programs the company will undertake during 2006 in Libyas Sirte Basin. The gas exploration program is in partnership with National Oil Corp (NOC) and follows an agreement concluded in May between Shell and Tripoli in the form of a multi-million dollar gas exploration and development project (MEES, 9 May)....
