Jordanian Cabinet Approves 2006 Budget
The outgoing Jordanian government of Prime Minister 'Adnan Badran towards the end of last month approved the budget for 2006, with expenditure set at JD3,510mn, revenue at JD3,000mn and a resulting deficit of JD510mn after factoring in foreign aid of JD236mn, or JD746mn without foreign aid. Expenditure in 2006 is projected at JD2,597mn for ordinary spending and JD913mn for capital spending...
