Bahr Al-'Ulum Sets Sights On 3Mn B/D Oil Output By End 2006
Iraq will aim to restore oil production to pre-war levels in 2006, lifting output to 3mn b/d by the end of the year, Oil Minister Ibrahim Bahr al-'Ulum said on 12 December. We aim that the production level at the start of next year will reach 2.2mn b/d of which 1.7mn b/d are exported, he said.
