Omans Al-Kamil IPP Project Inaugurated
Omans al-Kamil independent power project (IPP) in the Sharqiyah region was inaugurated on 11 January. The facility has the capacity to produce 285mw of electricity. The UKs International Power owns 100% of the plant and will be responsible for its operation and maintenance. The plant will use Frame 9E gas turbines manufactured by General Electric. Al-Kamil's output will be sold to Oman's Ministry of Electricity and Water...
