Israeli Papers See Momentum Building For Egyptian Gas Deal
Israeli press reports suggest that a momentum is building towards achieving a gas sales agreement between Egypt and Israel by the end of January. According to a 5 January report in Israeli newspaper Globes, Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmad Mahir told Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon in Jerusalem that gas sales would go ahead and that the agreement in principle to sell up to 7BCM/year for 20 years...
