Jordan Signals Plan To Raise Petroleum Products Prices In 2005
Jordan will raise prices of petroleum products by an average 9% in 2005 as part of the economic reform package aimed at reducing government subsidies and reducing the countrys budget deficit, projected at $378mn in 2004, Prime Minister Faisal al-Fayiz said, according to a Petra report of 19 January.
