Algerian Economy Maintains Stability, Buoyed By Strong Oil Revenues In 2003, Says IMF
The Algerian economy has maintained macroeconomic stability thanks to strong oil revenues and despite a difficult political and social environment, the IMF has said following annual Article IV consultations. Real GDP growth has recovered from the slowdown in 2000 to hit 6.7% on the back of strong oil revenues and an exceptional harvest in 2003....
