Iran Awards Mobile License To Turkcell-Led Consortium
Iran announced on 18 February that it had awarded its second mobile phone license to a group led by Turkish company Turkcell which includes Swedish telecom equipment maker Ericsson, Nordic operator TeliaSonera (which has a 37% stake in Turkcell) and three Iranian companies.
