Kurds Upbeat On Oil Agreement Prospects Amid Upstream Success
The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) on 11 April delivered an upbeat message on progress in oil discussions with Baghdad following a visit by Federal Finance Minister, Rafie al-'Isawi to Irbil. The negotiations are taking place as output in the Kurdish north is rising sharply and firms, most recently Canadas ShaMaran Petroleum, continue to make significant discoveries.
