Initial Kirkuk Exports To Be Sold On Tender Basis
MEES learns that SOMO has decided to sell initial Kirkuk oil from the Turkish port of Ceyhan on a tender basis, similar to the sale of the crude that was left over in the tanks after the war (MEES, 7 July and 9 June 2003). However, SOMO has not decided yet whether on this occasion it will opt for open tenders or invite bids only.
