Turkey To Sell Water To Israel
Turkey and Israel have entered an agreement whereby the latter will purchase 50mn cu ms/year of fresh water from Turkeys Manavgat river for a 20-year period. The agreement calls for Israel to pay $0.24/cubic meter, plus transport charges. Port fees are estimated at as much as $0.30/cu ms.
