AFESD Lends Egypt $102Mn For Talkha Power Station
The Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD) has lent Egypt KD30mn ($102mn) to help finance the construction of a 750mw gas-fired power station in Talkha in the Nile delta. The loan carries an interest rate of 3% over 25 years including a six-year grace period the same terms as a loan for the same amount from AFESD to Egypt to help finance the construction of the Nubariya power plant, also...
