Oman Government $182Mn Bond Oversubscribed
The Omani Governments first bond of 2004, worth OR70mn ($182mn), has been oversubscribed by 50%, the Central Bank of Oman (CBO) said, following the close of subscriptions on 5 March. Total subscriptions for the bond, which has a coupon of 4.50% and matures in five years on 1 February, came to OR104.6mn. Oman plans to issue bonds worth a total of OR202mn ($525mn) in 2004 to help cover the projected budget...
