RasGass Third Train Formally Launched
Ras Laffan Liquefied Natural Gas Companys (RasGass) third LNG train was formally launched on 23 March. Train 3, with 4.7mn tons/year capacity, has been in the process of start-up since the beginning of this year (MEES, 2 February). The project, which cost $1.3bn and is owned by Qatar Petroleum (QP 70%) and Mobil Qatargas (30%), was initiated to supply India under RasGass sales and purchase agreement with Petronet LNG...
