LAB Plant To Start Commercial Production In March
The Daaboul Economic Group and Saudi Arabias Al-Rajhi will start commercial production from their 40,000 ton/year linear alkyl benzene (LAB) plant in Syria in late March. The $38mn plant was part financed by the International Finance Corporation and uses technology licensed from US-based UOP (MEES, 1 July 2002).
