Alba Signs $450Mn Export Credit Finance Package
Aluminium Bahrain (Alba) announced on 31 March that it had signed an agreement to receive $450mn in financing from export credit agencies (ECA) for the construction of its Line Five Expansion Project. The ECA agreement is being underwritten by HSBC and BNP Paribas and is guaranteed by two ECAs Switzerlands ERG and Frances Coface.
