UNCC Pays Out $186Mn
The United Nations Compensation Commission (UNCC) on 8 April paid out $185.86mn for losses and damages incurred during Iraqs 1990-91 invasion and occupation of Kuwait. So far the UNCC has paid compensation amounting to $18.39bn to individuals, companies and governments. But total compensation awarded amounts to $48.2bn.
