Calvalley Spuds Second Al-Roidhat Appraisal Well In Yemens Block 9
Canadas Calvalley Petroleum announced on 19 April that it had spudded al-Roidhat-3, its second appraisal well in al-Roidhat field in Yemens Block 9, after completing al-Roidhat-2. The latter was drilled 60ms into the basement and encountered a highly porous Saar formation and Kohlan sand. The company will production test all the geological horizons encountered.
