Egypt Launches 2004 Upstream Bid Round For Five Southern Blocks
Egypts state-owned Ganoub al-Wadi Holding Petroleum Company (Ganobe) has launched its 2004 licensing round for five blocks in the southern Gulf of Suez, the Red Sea and Western Desert. International oil companies (IOCs) are invited to explore and develop oil and gas under the production-sharing contract model.
