US Democrats Seek To Lodge Complaint In WTO Against OPEC
Three Democrat legislators on 7 July said they would renew congressional efforts to request the US Trade Representative at the WTO to file a complaint against OPEC whose oil production policies they allege have contributed to high US gasoline prices. Sen Frank Lautenburg (NJ), Sen Dick Durbin (IL) and Rep Peter DeFazio (OR) said they aim to halt OPECs current illegal operations....
