Egypts 25 January revolution and the ensuing political turmoil has put on hold any major energy initiatives at least until a new parliament is in place. But the new Minister of Petroleum ʹAbd Allah Ghurab is working hard to come up with an energy master plan to be implemented hopefully following parliamentary elections in September.
