BP Makes New Gas Discovery In the Deep Mediterranean Concession
BP Egypt announced on 26 July a new gas discovery in the Western Nile Delta. The Polaris 1 exploratory well is the second discovery in the West Mediterranean Deep Water (WMDW) concession, and is located northwest of Alexandria, 75km off the coast of Egypt, at a depth of 1,162ms, according to a BP press statement.
