Egypt Awards Three Blocks To UK, Swiss Companies

Egyptian Petroleum Minister Sameh Fahmy has signed three upstream awards for Western Desert blocks to UK and Swiss companies, the official State Information Service (SIS) said on 3 September. The awards to the two UK companies were approved by parliament earlier in the year (MEES, 14 June).
