CPC Pipeline Shipping Over 500,000 B/D, Says Consortium
The Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) is drawing close to its current capacity with throughput topping more than 500,000 b/d, the group announced on 10 September. The 1,500km pipeline has transported some 40mn tons (290mn barrels) since it went into operation in October 2001 and current shipments are 2mn tons/day (490,000 b/d), a statement released by the consortium said....
