PDO Offers Small-Fields Alliance Contracts
Petroleum Development Oman (PDO) says it expects the first alliance contract with a third party to develop small fields to be put into effect in 1Q 2005. This will cover a cluster east of the Nimr-Karim area that currently produces 16,000 b/d from 17 fields. It has about 800mn barrels of oil-in-place and 150mn barrels of booked ultimate (expectation) reserves of which 70mn barrels remain....
