Botas Launches Gas Release Program
Turkeys state pipeline operator Botas has launched a gas release program by inviting supply bids for six long-term gas contracts totalling 16 BCM of gas. The move marks progress in the governments effort to fulfil the requirements of the 2001 gas law that requires Botas to reduce its share of gas imports to 20% by 2009.
