Egyptian Crude Output Edges Lower In 2002
Egyptian crude output showed a slight fall in 2002, down 1.8% at an average 628,153 b/d from an average 639,478 b/d in 2001, according to EGPC data. Although down on the year, the decline in 2002 was limited compared to the 2000/2001 data, which showed an 8.6% fall. Production in the fourth quarter of 2002 showed that oil production remained steady, while gas and condensate output increased towards the end of the year....
