Arab Energy Consumption Rises To Over 7Mn BOE/D In 2001
Total energy consumption (including petroleum products, natural gas, hydroelectricity and coal) in the Arab states rose by 1.6% in 2001 to 7mn barrels of oil equivalent/day (boe/d), compared to 6.9mn boe/d in 2000 and 6.7mn boe/d in 1999, according to statistics published in the OAPEC Secretary Generals Annual Report for 2001.
