Oman 2003 Budget Based On $20/B Oil Price
The Omani Government has approved the state budget for 2003 projecting revenues of OR2.6bn ($6.75bn), expenditure of OR3bn ($7.79bn) and a resultant deficit of OR400mn ($1.04bn). Oil revenues are expected to account for 70.6% of total revenues, generating some OR1.836bn ($4.77bn) from production of an estimated 703,000 b/d, assuming an oil price of $20/B.
