Jordan Takes Steps To Ensure Oil Supply In Event Of Iraq Cut-Off
The 'Amman government has taken steps to ensure that the country remains supplied with crude oil and products in the event that a war in Iraq cuts off imports from there. Jordan relies on Iraq for its supply of oil to the tune of 80,000-85,000 b/d of crude and 20,000 b/d of products half of which is free of charge and the remainder priced at a discount to prevailing market prices.
